A ready-to-go mini mushroom farm! These kits consist of a premium mix of organic substrate which has been colonised with a native NZ strain of phoenix oyster mushroom (Pleurotus pulmonarius) and they're a great way to grow a good few crops of mushrooms at home with ease. Being a native species well adapted to local conditions, these kits can be grown at any time of year without supplementary heating. Growth will be slower in cooler conditions, but the quality and flavour of cold-grown mushrooms is excellent.
