A father of two and a traveller at heart, Dony has been living in New Zealand for the past four years and holds a Diploma in Photography from Otago Polytechnic. While training shaped his technical skills, it is the people in front of his lens who shape his work. The glances, the laughter, the in between moments that often say the most.
He has a real softness for photographing children and families. The unfiltered joy, the curiosity, the way love shows up when no one is trying too hard. His aim is simple. Create images that feel like something. Photos that hold warmth, connection, and memory, not just a pose.
