MKT Party Hire is a Dunedin-based, family-run business bringing creative, personalised event styling and hire to all kinds of celebrations, big or small.
Started by Tracy, MKT grew from a genuine love of planning and creating beautiful parties, especially after styling birthdays for her two daughters, Maddie and Kadence (the inspiration behind the name). What began as a creative outlet quickly turned into something more, a way to help others bring their ideas to life and make their events feel special.
MKT offers a wide range of party hire and styling options, including balloons, custom signage, backdrops, furniture hire, bouncy castles, photo booths, and fully styled setups. Whether you’re after a complete “walk in ready” package or just need a few key pieces to DIY your own event, there’s flexibility to suit how involved you want to be.
There’s a strong focus on making things feel easy and enjoyable. If you’re not sure where to start, Tracy is always happy to chat through ideas, whether that’s working from a vision, a theme, or even just a Pinterest screenshot. From kids’ birthdays and hens parties to weddings and milestone celebrations, the approach is all about creating something that feels personal and well thought out.
MKT also offers a dedicated party space, “MKT Party Place”, designed for stress-free celebrations where everything is set up and ready to go, along with unique extras like stuffed balloons for gifting and custom-built displays created using CNC and laser cutting.
At its core, MKT Party Hire is about bringing ideas to life in a way that feels fun, relaxed, and a little bit special, without the overwhelm.
